The Shabby House is always on our must-do list when my mom, little sister and I are all in Boise together. It's an old beat-up house with rooms crammed full of vintage, chic, shabby and just plain weird stuff. And when you think you've seen it all you walk into the backyard and there are tents and sheds filled with more treasures.
I'll admit it took a while for me to warm up to this place. But after I got over the paranoia that we'd get locked up in one of the backyard sheds and taken prisoner, I started to see its appeal. Now a few fun visits and zero hostage negotiations later, I absolutely love it.
