loving lately :: June 2010

Here's what I've been loving lately...

-Almost anything on HGTV. Being in a house after living in apartments for six years has me desperate for interior design ideas. My favorite shows are The Unsellables and Designed to Sell. I love seeing how their make-unders and simplifications help improve the look and feel of a room.

-Browsing oneprettything.com on a daily basis. This site is basically my to-do list of crafts, especially the Daily DIY section. If only I had the time...and a sewing machine.

-The Cab. My brother introduced me to this band a couple years ago but I never really gave them a listen until recently. Now it's my go-to music for kitchen cleaning and laundry folding. They've got a Maroon 5 feel to them, with a little bit of Fall Out Boy mixed in and a touch of 'Nsync. Yes, I said 'Nsync.

-L'Oreal Voluminous mascara. I'd been on the hunt for a perfect mascara for a while until I found this stuff. I use the Full Definition kind and love it. So smooth, so clean, but still gives my eyelashes a perfect amount of oomph. 

-Ravenberg Photography. My sister-in-law Sami Jo got married last weekend and I loved her photographer, Becky. She was so much fun to watch (and pose for!) throughout the day. I can't wait to see how the pictures turned out.

-Online shopping (this isn't new) and checking Retailmenot.com before making my purchases final. I wonder how much money I have saved using promotional codes found on this site.

-My dark wash trouser jeans from Victoria's Secret. Have long legs? Take it from me, get your jeans from VS.

-Puckered lips courtesy of Hallie Hansen. This is the newest of her silly facial expressions, and definitely my favorite. I now find myself making the same face on occasion. Unfortunately I don't look nearly as cute as she does.
