sticky fingers

I don't know that there's a more delicious time of year than September, October, and November.
Carmel-covered apples, chili and cornbread, homemade pies and cookies, soups in bread bowls. My favorite meal is always Saturday night's game-time dinner. What's better than eating yummy food and cheering on your favorite college football team?

Sticky Fingers are always on the menu at our house for game nights. This recipe is super quick and easy and comes so very close to Winger's famous Sticky Fingers. In fact, some say it's even better.

What you need:

1 package frozen crispy chicken strips (I prefer the Tyson brand)
3 Tablespoons Franks hot sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons water

Bake chicken strips according to package directions. Meanwhile, combine hot sauce (it must be Franks hot sauce - I've included a picture below), brown sugar, and water in small saucepan. Bring to boil and stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool.

Pour sauce on chicken strips immediately after removing them from the oven. Coat well and serve with a side of ranch dressing. Enjoy and cross your fingers that your team wins!
