Say hello to our picky eater.
She eats pancakes and olives and spaghetti and drinks about a gallon of chocolate milk a day. And that's pretty much it. The chocolate in her milk is actually Carnation Instant Breakfast mix. It's the best we can do.
We've started doing bedtime snacks to try to keep her belly full throughout the night. A well-rested two-year old means a well-rested mom and dad. So far we've found success with goldfish crackers and fruit loops. (Notice the uneaten sandwich.) I mean, as long as she's got her Oso bear with her, she's good. And he gets a few bites too.
What foods do your toddlers love?
(Have you read this blog? I love it. I'm pretty passionate about focusing on the good and uplifting parts of motherhood. This blog supports that mindset. And it's oh so fun to read.)

We buy Instant Breakfast 5 boxes at a time around here! My older daughter's idea of variety is different shapes of pasta, so "chocolate" milk gives me piece of mind she's getting a few nutrients throughout the day! Try blending it with ice, peanut butter, and banana for a protein packed smoothie.
Spinach shakes:
1/3 cup grape juice
1 orange
1 banana
6 or 7 frozen strawberries
2 or 3 cups spinach
BLEND and enjoy!
It looks gross but it tastes delicious and my SUPER picky eater loves it. You can experiment with Hallie's favorite fruits, this is just what we use b/c it's readily available.
In the 'healthy' department, Clark loves sweet potato fries, roasted broccoli, cantaloupe, watermelon, dried fruit (check out 'just fruit' at Whole Foods/HEB), and pears.
I just bought Jordan some apple cinnamon mini rice cakes and she loves them. I was tired of buying the expensive baby snacks and needed something easy to transport/that she could easily chew with her few teeth, but they would be great for a toddler too. They are actually so good I often snack on them ;o)
Oyster crackers (mini saltines) are a goodie too.
So Brecken can be picky too-he coud live on mac and cheese and cheese sandwhiches i swear! he also loves gold fish and cereal too, but I have also found he like almonds-protein so I'll make up a trail mix with all of the above and add a m&m or two and then not give him more m&m's till everything else is gone! and craisins, he goes on spurts with these and typically goes back and forth between them and raisins. GOOD LUCK!
We're so blessed that our toddler will eat anything! Good luck finding more foods she'll eat. Visiting from Project 52.
Reggie is pretty picky and to top it off, he gets easily plugged up if you know what I mean. He lives off of toast (cut into shapes with a cookie cutter), cereal (fruit loops and thankfully mini wheats), and then the rest just seems like junk. Fruit? Vegetables? No thank you.
I love your blog name! This is super cute blog too! Thanks for linking with Homemaker Blog Swap party! I'm your newest follwer and featuring you on my blog and would love you to become mine!
To many more blog stories and friends!
