I celebrated my birthday this weekend at Bear Lake. It was the perfect day for building sandcastles and playing frisbee and floating around and munching on beach food. For turning a year older I sure felt young playing in the sand and splashing around with some of my favorite people. Something about water and sunshine brings a big, fat, cheesy perma-smile to my face.
We received good, great, wonderful news last week. I will share as soon as I wrap my head around it all. I will say this for now - I think 28 is going to be a really terrific year.

It can NOT be a year since your birthday...no no no. The day I watched Hallie and you went to Mighty Burger and bought sandles and I lived in a horrid apartment. How come I remember all of that?! Well I think you are the best, I am SO glad you had a wonderful day, you totally deserve it. MISS YOU>
